Mission Athletics Club wants every visitor to be able to find information and reach our booking pages. This page explains what we have done, what is still open, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
What we have done
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We review the site as we build it, using automated checks and keyboard testing.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, including the menus, the photo gallery, and the review panels.
- A “Skip to main content” link appears as soon as you start tabbing through a page.
- Text and background colours have been checked and adjusted so copy stays readable.
- Images that carry meaning have written descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Moving content can be paused, and it stays paused until you choose to start it again.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, automatic movement and entrance animations are switched off.
- Pages reflow without sideways scrolling on small screens and at enlarged text sizes; browser zoom is never blocked.
Known limitations
We do not claim certification or full conformance. These are the gaps we know about today.
- A facility video is planned. When it is added, captions and any other media alternatives still need to be prepared and checked by a person.
- Reservations, memberships, and lessons are booked on Swift, a separate booking service. We do not control that site, and its accessibility has to be reviewed separately by its provider.
- Testing with screen readers on real phones and computers is still to be completed.
